Enrichment Programs

We would like to present our After School Enrichment Programs for grades 1-12.  Please take some time to look over the descriptions of all that is being offered with your children so that when the sign-ups come out you will be familiar with the options.

We have a variety of choices this Fall term for our After School Enrichment Programs and hope you can find one or more that will interest your child.  Payments for enrichment programs will be run through FACTS. You will receive an invoice sent through FACTS. If you have any questions about the enrichment programs in general, please email our Enrichment Coordinator Maria Lindsay, at If you have questions about a particular program, you may wish to email that instructor.  Programs this semester include:

  • American Girls (2nd-5th girls)
  • Archery (7th-12th)
  • Around the World-Beginning Art (1st-4th)
  • Chess (3rd-8th)
  • Honors Band (7th-10th)
  • Lego (1st-4th)
  • Odyssey of the Mind (3rd-5th)
  • Painting-Intermediate Art (5th-8th)
  • P. E. (1st-4th)
  • Young Actors Ensemble (4th-8th)

There are a few important things to note :

Enrichment Meeting Times
**Programs will begin the week of January 1st

Many programs (those for grades 1-6 only) will run from 2:40-3:40.

Those programs which combine both 1-6 and junior high will run from 2:40-3:50.

Those with junior high and high school (grades 7-12) will run from 3:10-4:10. This is due to the longer junior high/high school day.

*High school students will have electives during their school day on Mondays or Thursdays.  The only after school enrichment programs which include high school students are archery and honors band.

*If you have a student in grades 1-6 who is in the later enrichment slot, coverage will be provided between the end of the school day and the start of the program.

*If you have a student in one enrichment program in grades 1-6 and another student in an enrichment program which ends later, we will also provide aftercare for those siblings so you can pick them both up at 4:10.

Programs still run for ten weeks unless otherwise noted.

Young Actors Ensemble

The young actors ensemble will meet on most Fridays from 9:00am-12:00pm with a few exceptions for lead roles and will be led by Charlene Thomas our Drama Director.  The Show this Fall will be Disney’s The Jungle Book Kids held on Friday, November 16th.

As stated above, all payments will be processed through FACTS. Per the Enrichment Program policy on, you have 14 days prior to the start of programs to cancel. If your child’s name is on the SignUp Genius, as of Tuesday, August 21st, you will be considered registered and full payment will be required. No refunds will be given after August 21st.
